Elle, Prime Video’s Legally Blonde prequel, arrives July 1, 2026 — perfectly synced with the film’s 25‑year anniversary. Produced by Reese Witherspoon, the series introduces Lexi Minetree as teenage Elle, long before Harvard Law and courtroom dominance.
Set in 1995, the show follows Elle after her family relocates to Seattle: fewer blondes, more skater boys, and a high school that’s decidedly not pink. It’s a classic fish‑out‑of‑water arc, but still unmistakably Elle — Bruiser included.
The cast includes June Diane Raphael and Tom Everett Scott as her parents, plus Chandler Kinney, Jacob Moskovitz, and Gabrielle Policano. Witherspoon cites Wednesday as inspiration for exploring Elle’s early years through her company Hello Sunshine.
The teaser positions Minetree as a breakout — bright, charismatic, and ready to carry an iconic legacy into a new era.
Elle streams July 1 on Prime Video.
